The world's elite stops off in Innsbruck!

One week after the World Championships in St. Moritz, things will get serious once again: the best bobsleigh and skeleton pilots will compete in a total of 6 events in the Olympic ice canal in Igls.

This year there is something special in store: in addition to the skeleton race on Friday, there will be two competitions in the men's four-man bobsleigh - and thus also the World Cup final in this discipline. Can top favourite and Olympic champion Francesco Friedrich secure the World Cup victory again this year? In addition to the skeleton competition, the women's programme also includes one race each in the monobob and the 2-seater bobsleigh. The local athletes also want to be among the front runners again: Skeleton pilot Janine Flock is fit again after an injury break and in the bobsleigh competitions Markus Treichl wants to fill the big shoes of runner-up Benni Maier, who retired after the Olympic Games.

After a long break, the athletes will finally be able to show their skills in front of the audience again. In addition to the races themselves, a varied supporting programme awaits all fans young and old: music, play and adventure stations as well as the opportunity to experience the ice canal up close with bobsleigh rafting.
