The exhibition "Hanukkah. Candlesticks of the Festival of Lights" thematises the significance of light in relation to the Jewish Festival of Lights. Light as a symbol and sign not only plays a decisive role in Jewish tradition, but in the context of this exhibition it is also intended to be representative of the absence of Jewish exhibits in the collections of the Tyrolean Provincial Museums. Thus, the exhibition is based on the idea of uniting the different religions and cultures through light, in the form of the Jewish candelabra.
