Colourkatl

Behind the name Colourkatl is the lively, 25-year-old Tyrolean Katrin Hinterholzer. Having been creative since she was a child, she finally took the time to focus on painting during the first Covid lockdown. At the beginning she did so-called "pocket painting", she painted trouser pockets with comics, but finally devoted herself to painting pictures. Her style evolved from old landscape posters to lifelike mountain paintings, as you can see in this exhibition. For her there is nothing better than spending the whole day on the mountain, which is also the source of her inspiration. "Since I've been painting, I've been walking through nature with more open eyes. I see colors that are revealed by the light falling on the mountains, but are not noticeable when you look quickly, and I try to capture them in my pictures.”
