The diversity of wild bees

In Tyrol, there are about 400 different wild bees - the smallest are only a few millimeters in size, the blue wood bee reaches a stately 3 cm. Most of them live as solitary bees, the furry bumblebees form summer states. During this course, you will learn general and special facts about these important pollinators during a tour of the Botanical Garden: body structure, color pattern, nectar plants, way of life and protective measures.
