DRAWING-WORKSHOP: THE FOOD WE SHARE

NATASHA TSELIUBA would like to invite you to a workshop where we collectively think about solidarity and the ways in which we can embody it on a basic level, like food. First, we think about the food we have shared ourselves (any form of sharing – pieces of bread with birds, sandwiches with family, etc). And then we try to draw it.
This workshop is a continuation of Natasha’s research on Zamotka. Zamotka is a wrap popular among underground creatives who gathered in Shelter, an artistic hub in Mariupol back in 2017-2018. The recipe is simple: you take ‘lavash’ flatbread, spread something on it, such as hummus, and add any spicy or pungent ingredient you like — from tomatoes to olives, from melted cheese to calamari.
