For God, Emperor and Fatherland?

Propaganda in the First World War in Tyrol
During World War I, numerous measures were also taken in Tyrol to get the population excited about the war and to ensure acceptance for political or military decisions. In addition to film, photography, war bonds and censorship, war toys, war diaries and the so-called "war lesson" in school lessons were among the common means of propaganda. Using historical collection objects, the current exhibition at the Kaiserjägermuseum traces the systematic manipulation of people, especially in everyday life.
