Hans-Walter Müller: I Have Already Left Gravity

Architect, engineer and artist Hans-Walter Müller may not have invented inflatable architecture, but he has devoted almost his entire life to it, creating an incredible œuvre in the process. For more than 50 years, he has been creating inflatable volumes for uses as diverse as exhibitions, festivals, theater and concert performances, but also for a temporary shopping center or a central drop-in center for refugees. And for the past 50 years, he himself has lived in one of his volumes in La Ferté-Alais near Paris. The exhibition offers an insight into the work of this pioneer of building with air with photographs, films and objects, as well as a volume with sound and projection developed especially for our rooms.
