Homo Faber

A report by Max Frisch. Stage version by Volkmar Kamm
Max Frisch's novel, published in 1957, is the unsparing account of the first-person narrator Walter Faber, who, waiting for a vital operation, makes a life confession. It is precisely the questioning of the technical-rational view of the world that remains topical, since we live in a time in which the utopia that man could be completely absorbed by technology is becoming a dystopia.
