Exhibition: Im Aufbruch

Innsbruck becomes a royal seat. This changed the cityscape as well as city life. In 1420, Duke Friedrich IV bought two town houses in the old town and moved the residence to Innsbruck. The sovereign court and the provincial administration moved in and left their mark on the city. The traces are still visible today. The exhibition "On the move. Innsbruck becomes a residential city" was created in cooperation with the Tyrolean Provincial Archives.
