Power and diversity of the media
We all use media - radio, television, social media, newspapers - for several hours every day. With the intention of informing us, educating us, entertaining us. But who actually provides the content? Who chooses topics, guests and words? Where are critical and migrant voices found in the media public sphere? Who doesn't have their say in it - and why not? What does all this have to do with power? And how does more diversity in the media benefit us all?
On the occasion of its 20th anniversary, Freie Radio Innsbruck FREIRAD will discuss power and diversity in the media on Free Media Day, among others with:
