Rejected at the pitch, kicked out of the competition, ingenious but unwanted, already in the drawer for ages? To accompany his exhibition Z-Works. A Design Journey, Charlie Zimmermann invites himself and colleagues to talk about projects that were never realised. Maybe those are the particularly courageous, radical, utopian ones and reveal a lot about their own working methods and approach to graphic design. Or they were sensible mistakes from which one could learn.
