Poetry Slam Workshop

Writing creative, literary texts, stories and poems is one thing - performing them in front of an audience is another. This workshop will focus on how to turn an idea into a text suitable for the stage, how to turn a poem into spoken word or slam poetry, and which performance styles and elements can really bring it to life.
Queer feelings and perspectives in particular are sometimes not so easy to put down on paper and even less easy to share with others (let alone an audience). Yet there can, should, must (we think) be room for everything non-cis-hetero-normative, especially on slam stages. The workshop will be about claiming this space for yourself.
