Most beautiful books in Austria & Ukrainian book design

Beautiful books are always more than mere carriers of their content, more than the sum of their parts. In the most beautiful books, all aspects of book design come together in an outstanding form, making the book a total work of art that remains irreplaceable in its many possibilities. The exhibition shows the current prize-winning projects of the competition "Most Beautiful Books Austria".On this occasion, we show in a second part selected positions of Ukrainian book design. Building on a long tradition, a very active scene has developed there, especially in recent years, which is now scattered to all parts of Europe due to the war or is exposed to great dangers on site.
