VALLAZZA, FRIENDS & MORE

In our first autumn exhibition we are showing a selection of high-quality works by the South Tyrolean graphic artist and painter Markus Vallazza, supplemented with works by companions and colleagues from this generation of artists who are important for the Tyrol. A large part of Vallazza's works on display - like the works by Walter Nagl already successfully exhibited in spring - comes from the private collection Krings in Augsburg. Also the smaller part of their collection shows the excellent eye of the collector couple Klaus and Regina Krings, who accompanied Vallazza regularly in Bolzano as well as during his time in Augsburg (1982-85). In addition to sheets from the well-known printmaking oeuvre, the selection also includes excellent (watercolor) ink drawings, one of the rare still lifes of flowers, and an extremely charming Venice motif in tempera.
