Walk-in Klnaginstallation
With the work animal-voice-pavilion Paul Gründorfer and Fabian Lanzmaier design a walk-in sound installation. By means of small-scale electromechanical and digital sound generators, which are positioned three-dimensionally in space, an autonomous system is initiated. Connections of electronic circuits and digital sound processors are treated as entities to produce semi-natural, squeaking, stuttering, throbbing or even singing autonomous organisms. Voice and speech processes emerge through various applications of feedback networks.
By investigating sound as a processual medium, the question of sound as an independent presence in space is explored. The installation is started and left to itself and can thus be found in different stages
