In the comic "treiben" (Edition Moderne, 2022), Berlin artist Bernadette Schweihoff tells the story of a Berlin couple's journey on the Trans-Siberian Railway in enigmatic images. "Compartment No. 6" (FI, DE, EST, RU 2021) by Juho Kuosmanen (film screening at the IFFI to be announced) sends two strangers by train towards the Arctic Circle. Film and comic meet in the explicit. What distinguishes them? We will discuss this with Bernadette Schweihoff, among others, who will also read from treiben. A collaboration between Innsbruck City Library and IFFI - International Film Festival Innsbruck.
