Innsbruck International. Biennial of the Arts 2024

INNSBRUCK INTERNATIONAL is a contemporary biennial of the arts that invites international artists to make use of Innsbruck’s extraordinary historical and contemporary venues in the presentation of their works of visual art, film, and sound as well as performances and installations. 
After celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2022, INNSBRUCK INTERNATIONAL offers a guide to the coming time with the theme HEAVEN CAN WAIT: how to deal with natural disasters, migration, the extinction of animal species and the effects on the individual - to hole up or surrender to the catastrophe? INNSBRUCK INTERNATIONAL has invited artists with works on survival strategies and focuses on individual strength for collective survival. The next decade can come: Heaven can wait.
