Classical Open Air Concert

THE alpine-urban concert highlight of the year will once again take place in a unique location, at 1620m above sea level, above the provincial capital of Innsbruck. This time, the Tyrolean Chamber Orchestra InnStrumenti invites you to Klassik am Berg on the last holiday day in late summer, the special classical open air in the picturesque mountain world of the Muttereralm!
The Muttereralm cable car brings the audience quickly and comfortably to the concert venue on the mountain, where the musicians of InnStrumenti, under the direction and moderation of Gerhard Sammer, present a varied programme with crossover with outstanding instrumental soloists.
This time, the five musicians of the Groovin' Tango Quintet and the young flutist Chantal Ramona Veit have been won as soloists.
Even before the concert, smaller music groups on the way to the stage on the mountain will set the mood for the concert evening (valley, middle and mountain station).

Advance concert tickets are valid in case of bad weather at Haus der Musik (limited contingent).
On Friday 8 September it will be announced on the homepage whether the concert will take place on the mountain or at Haus der Musik!

Info and tickets: www.innstrumenti.at and at the box office at the valley station of the Muttereralm cable car and at the mountain station of the Muttereralm on the day of the concert.

The car park at the Muttereralm is free of charge from 12.30 pm. However, it is advisable to arrive by public transport with the Stubaitalbahn, as parking space is limited. The Stubaitalbahn (STB for short) is a tram line that runs between Innsbruck city centre and Mutters. It stops below the Muttereralmbahn at the Nockhofweg stop, 600 metres and 75 metres in altitude from the mountain railway station. The STB runs every half hour between Mutters and Innsbruck. The concert ticket is also valid as a ticket on all lines of the IVB in Innsbruck (core zone) as well as the Stubaitalbahn (1.5 hrs before & after).
