Public tours

Why do the performers spit over their shoulders before the premiere? Who builds our beautiful sets, and where do the opera’s elegant gowns come from? A guided tour of the Tyrolean State Theater promises a very special behind-the-scenes look. Our department directors will guide you through the auditorium, the stage in the Main Auditorium, to the rehearsal stages, and finally to the workshops. And with a little luck, you’ll also get to see our huge Weiler painting on the Iron Curtain. Come on in!

Meeting point: Main entrance of the Main Auditorium
Maximum participants: 35 people
Led by the artistic directors
Duration: approx. 90 minutes
Cost: €6

We offer additional tour dates for school classes and groups of 15 or more. For details, please contact Johanna Wildling atfuehrungen@landestheater.at or +43 512 52074 126.
