From Beethoven to Beatboxing

Powerful bass lines, cool sounds, quirky noises: beatboxers can do it all—and often all at once! Even though beatboxers can mimic an entire orchestra, nothing beats the creative energy that arises when two vastly different musical languages inspire each other and blend together. That is exactly what will happen in this concert: a musical experiment that combines classical orchestral music with a fascinating art form from urban subculture. The program ranges from Beethoven, Brahms, Rossini, and Jenkins to Einaudi and Imagine Dragons.

The Tyrolean Symphony Orchestra consistently looks beyond the boundaries of classical music, inviting musicians from other genres to collaborate and create together. The two young, up-and-coming Tyrolean beatboxers, Samuel Plieger and Paul Pichler, are celebrated masters of their craft—an encounter that is equally inspiring for both sides!

We highly recommend this concert for school classes starting in 9th grade
