2027 Kühtai Freeride by Innsbruck Tourism Junior 4*

Launchpad Kühtai: Freeride Academy Innsbruck hosts Austria's only 4 FWT Junior Contest*

From 29 to 31 January 2027, the Freeride Academy Innsbruck (FAI) will bring the next generation of freeride athletes to Kühtai. With the Kühtai Freeride Junior 4 by Innsbruck Tourism*, Austria's largest non-profit freeride club is organizing the country's only 4 FWT Junior Contest*.

The event, part of the FWT Junior Tour, will take place in Kühtai at the Kaiserbahn area. As Austria's only 4* FWT Junior Contest, it offers athletes under the age of 19 from around the world the opportunity to earn valuable qualification points. A strong result can serve as a stepping stone towards the Freeride Junior World Championships 2028 in Kappl. After being held as a 3* event in 2026, the competition will be upgraded to a 4* event for the first time in 2027. A three-day weather window is available for the contest.

For spectators, the finish area will feature a Contest Watch Area, live commentary, music and refreshments. The prize-giving ceremony will take place at Loisl's Schirmbar in Kühtai.

Registration:
Registration is exclusively available through the Freeride World Tour registration platform. A maximum of 80 starting spots across five categories are available.
