The Easter Festival Tyrol traditionally kicks off Lent with the “40 Locations.” From Ash Wednesday through Holy Saturday, a different location between Wattens, Hall, and Innsbruck is visited daily—except on Sundays—at 3 p.m. Both emerging and established Tyrolean artists create 30-minute islands of pause, encounter, and reflection. In addition to music, there are brief textual prompts that engage with the theme of this year’s festival, un_endlich. Art as a retreat: it is meant to revive utopia and harmony in the harsh spaces of our society.
