40 Places 2026 - Rahel Rupprechter

Lent traditionally begins for the Tyrol Easter Festival with the “40 Places.” From Ash Wednesday to Holy Saturday, a different location between Wattens, Hall, and Innsbruck is visited every day at 3 p.m., except on Sundays.
Young as well as renowned Tyrolean artists create 30-minute “islands” of pause, encounter, and reflection. In addition to music, there are short textual reflections that engage with the theme of this year’s festival, “un_endlich” (un_endingly / infinitely).
