Alexander Wurz and the Egerländer Musikanten the original - "70 years of Egerländer

Seven decades of orchestral history –
Our patriarch Ernst Mosch made the Egerländer Musikanten the most successful wind orchestra in the world and was awarded countless gold records. Since then, the Egerländer have become an integral part of the music world.
In 2000, Ernst Hutter took over as musical director. As a key figure, he shaped the orchestra for decades and had the great task of continuing the image of the Egerländer Musikanten in a dignified and forward-looking manner even after Ernst Mosch's death.
With great foresight, professionalism, and a clear vision, he opened the orchestra to a new generation of young musicians – many of whom are now an integral part of the Egerländer family. I myself was also able to follow this path.
I am very proud to be able to carry on this rich tradition and to join the ranks of these two personalities of brass music.
With the anniversary tour “70 Years of Egerländer Musikanten,” we will embark on a musical journey through time and review the most important stages in the orchestra's history – right up to the present day.
