Return of the livestock from high alpine summer pastures

The Almabtrieb takes place via Leutasch and 34 kilometres to Mieming. A good half of the animals will take on this march. Departure is at 7:00 a.m., at around 3:00 p.m. the animals should arrive in Obermieming and be driven on to the grazing area in the direction of Stöttlalm.
Afterwards, there will be an alpine pasture festival organised by the Mieming Mountain Rescue Service at the Lehnbach car park. Musical entertainment and refreshments are provided.
