Artist in residence: Lilee Imperator

As a prelude to the official closing of Coll:b am Hof, we are delighted to announce a special guest. Lilee Imperator, the Tyrolean artist with strong roots in street art and a penchant for large murals, has agreed to move her studio to the picturesque courtyard of the Volkskunstmuseum for a day. While you can watch her creating a painting, you will also have the opportunity to admire a selection of her works in the cloister. As the crowning finale of this residency, we will present the resulting work during the closing event afterwards.

About Lilee Imperator: Lilee Imperator is an artist from Tyrol with Nigerian roots who lives in France. Her large-format works – from canvas to murals – deal with identity and emotional space. With flowing lines, clear composition and a keen sense of colour, she makes the invisible visible and gives form to feelings. Her art invites you to encounter yourself anew, gently and powerfully at the same time.
