When it comes to housing and land, the so-called "logic" of the free market has largely prevailed in recent years - a fact that is now leading to major social problems and social upheaval. In Tyrol, too, it is becoming increasingly apparent that it is becoming more and more difficult for broad sections of society to afford a rental apartment on their income, let alone to finance property ownership.
On the occasion of 50 years of DOWAS (transit point for housing and job seekers), the exhibition "geld . macht . raum" is dedicated to the complex problems of an economy of housing by means of background information, case studies, videos and artistic works.
