Tree story

During ‘Forest Week’, the focus is on the numerous functions that forests fulfil. The habitat, protection, utilisation, recreation and welfare functions of the forest are indispensable for our society. Trees have a special effect on people, which can also be felt on this walk, which draws attention to large and small trees in the city. Which species have been growing there for centuries, which have only recently been planted? What stories are entwined around them? The walk leads through the garden of the Haus der Begegnung and ends at the forest festival on the market square, where you can immerse yourself even further in the world of trees and numerous information stands invite you to linger.
The meeting point for the event is cool-INN Park. After a stopover at the Haus der Begegnung, the event ends at the market square.
The event will also take place in bad weather.
