DEEP PURPLE

After two terrific shows in Vienna and Graz in July 2023, the most iconic of all cult bands is coming back to Austria in 2024! Since April 2022 with Simon McBride on guitar, Ian Gillan, Roger Glover, Ian Paice and Don Airey are ready to conquer the rock world live again - including rumours of work on a new album. As fans know, the line-up is now Mark IX in the band's long and successful history. Yet Deep Purple have always remained true to their musical roots, using an eclectic mix of styles to create a distinctive sound that on the one hand defines the band today and on the other leaves a legacy that very few acts will ever be able to replicate. In over 50 years they have written and produced so many classics that their audience is very broad in terms of age and background - a fact that the band always takes into account with their set lists. There are hardly enough superlatives to adequately acknowledge the contribution Deep Purple has made to rock music. The anticipation of a reunion with rock royalty is logically enormous!
