For a few hours, you are transported from everyday life into the romantic and imaginative world of dreams and desires. When the guests have left on Christmas Eve, Clara goes back to her presents. There she falls asleep. At midnight, the nutcrackers and dolls come to life and Clara suddenly finds herself in the middle of a magical world. Snowflakes and dancing flowers accompany the girl on her journey to the realm of the beautiful Sugar Plum Fairy. An enchanting Christmas fairy tale that delights ballet fans of all ages at every performance. The ballet ‘The Nutcracker’ premiered at the Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg in December 1892.
