FIL Luge World Championships 2027

The 2027 FIL Luge World Championships mark a historic milestone in international luge. For the first time, the World Championships in artificial luge and alpine luge (formerly natural luge) will be held at a single venue. The alpine luge competitions will take place on the revitalized historic Olympic track from the 1964 Winter Olympics, combining Olympic heritage with modern elite sports. The competitions on artificial track will be held in the newly adapted ice track in Innsbruck-Igls. Spectators will have the opportunity to experience all competitions in both disciplines live at the track from February 5 through 7, 2027.
