Folk & Apéro

Under the motto Folk & Apéro, young artists from the Tyrolean State Conservatory present a varied folk music program in the Small Hall. From soloists to mixed ensembles, there is something for every listener.
This time's guests: the group Saitenziacher from the Tyrolean Oberland and the ensemble Weazeithot from the Tyrolean State Conservatory. The name "Saitenziacher" refers to the group's instrumentation, consisting of many strings (hammered dulcimer and harp) and a Styrian accordion. We, siblings Daniel and Anna Schweigl, have been making music together with our cousin Sarah Krug for many years. So we are connected not only by family, but also by a passion for folk music and memories of many fun moments and beautiful performances. We perform at trade fairs, weddings, baptisms, various celebrations, vernissages, readings, and much more.
Together, these two groups will present folk music from Tyrol and the rest of the world!
