HDM in Concert: Opening Night – Between Breath and Keys

“Auftakt,” the popular concert series featuring students from the Precollege program at the Tyrolean State Conservatory, has become a staple of the HDM’s concert program. For the first time, winners of the Prof. Kurt Ebert Piano Competition will also help shape the program.

The focus is on sound miniatures from music of all eras. In the Beethoven Year 2027, the Bagatelles, Op. 119 and Op. 126, form a central thread running through the program, around which works in unusual instrumentations for recorder, saxophones, and trumpets are grouped.

From small chamber music groups to larger ensembles, you can expect an extraordinary repertoire and exciting, unconventional instrumental combinations. Highly recommended for curious minds!
