INNSBRUCK INTERNATIONAL. Film Screening & Artist Talk: OLIVER RESSLER

Oliver Ressler (born in 1970 in Knittelfeld, lives and works in Vienna) creates installations, projects in public spaces and films on topics such as economic structures, democracy, the climate crisis, racism, as well as forms of resistance and alternative social models. Solo exhibitions have taken him to the National Museum of Contemporary Art (MNAC) in Bucharest, SALT Galata in Istanbul, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Zagreb, the Museo Espacio in Aguascalientes (Mexico), and Belvedere 21 in Vienna, among others.

As part of INNSBRUCK INTERNATIONAL, Ressler will present the films ‘We Are the Forest Enclosed by the Wall’ (2025) and ‘After the Barrage, the Deluge’ (2022). This will be followed by a discussion with independent curator Lorena Moreno Vera (Vienna).
