INNSBRUCK INTERNATIONAL. Film Screening & Artist Talk: WENDELIEN VAN OLDENBORGH

Wendelien van Oldenborgh (born in Rotterdam in 1962, lives and works in Berlin and Vienna) develops works in which she uses the medium of film both as a methodological basis for production and as a central form of expression for various modes of presentation. The screenplay is created in collaboration with actors from different contexts. Her most recent solo exhibitions include presentations at YCAM in Yamaguchi, the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo, CA2M in Madrid and the Dutch Pavilion at the 57th Venice Biennale.

The special screening of the films ‘A Prelude’ (2024) and ‘Sound Track Stage’ (2006–08) as part of INNSBRUCK INTERNATIONAL at Leokino will be followed by a conversation with the artist, moderated by Nina Tabassomi, director of the Taxispalais Kunsthalle Tirol.
