Innsbruck Rookie Festival

Snowboard slopestyle celebrates its premiere, freeskiing enters its eighth edition.

The Innsbruck Rookie Fest will take place on the Nordkette for the eighth time from 20 to 22 February 2026. After years as a pure freeski event, snowboarders will be making their debut this year, marking a significant milestone in the event's development. High above the rooftops of Innsbruck, the Nordkette Skyline Park will become the hotspot of the European junior freestyle scene this weekend.

The Innsbruck Rookie Fest is part of the renowned World Rookie Tour, which has been offering young riders an international platform for over 20 years and enabling them to take the decisive step from amateur to professional sport. While today's stars are reaching for the stars at the Winter Olympics, tomorrow's Olympians will be competing for valuable slopestyle points and the last tickets to the big World Rookie Tour Final 2026 at the Nordkette. On Saturday, the focus will be on freeskiing, and on Sunday, snowboarders will take over the Nordkette Skyline Park for the first time at the Innsbruck Rookie Fest.
