ISAAC - renaissance meets jazz

In this concert, motets from Heinrich Isaac’s monumental Choralis Constantinus will be performed, interwoven with organ versets by his colleague Hans Buchner. As a counterpoint to these historical sounds, internationally acclaimed saxophonist Sandro Compagnon will present interactive improvisations, building musical bridges from the Renaissance to the present day.
