Youth club

When people bring their stories together on stage with and through music, music theater is created. When 7 young people work together with a professional team of directors to explore musical theater, this centuries-old art form is put to the test in an exciting, funny and highly topical way.

Under the title "Arriving", the play.opera.performance was created in 8 months with people aged between 13 and 21 and the directing team Scharmien Zandi and Daniela Oberrauch. The young people research, write texts, improvise with words, voice and dance, invent and develop their respective roles. They compose and rehearse their musical works, deal with costumes and stage design and give us an insight into their personal experiences on the subject of "arriving".

"Ankommen" a play.opera.performance takes a dystopian look at the present day! What could happen if greed spreads and the inner child has to hide or, even worse, is locked up? The performance opens up perspectives of people from different realities who have to reorganize and reinvent their lives in order to let curiosity prevail instead of greed.
