"You're overwhelmed with bellies. I'm still just the one... without, the one with the missing part."
Motherhood is political. And non-motherhood is just that. From "It'll come" to "You'll regret it", childless or childfree women* are often stigmatized, "maternal instinct" is glorified as natural and motherhood is romanticized. With their most personal, intimate and formative life decision, women* inevitably find themselves in the public eye and lose their voice.

But how do mothers feel? What if you regret motherhood? Or when the biological clock simply isn't ticking? Two women wrestle their way through all the (taboo) topics surrounding reproduction and childbearing, de-romanticize the "maternal instinct" and describe what is triggered by the "question of all questions", the question of children.
