The concert explores the concept of the mirror, inspired by the alchemical ‘Tabula Smaragdina’. The Italian Quartetto Maurice and the SoloVoices from Switzerland mirror each other in their coherence, with Bernhard Lang and Juste Janulyte playing with reflections and doublings. Lang's ‘Mirror Games’ uses symmetry and curved reflections through loops. Janulyte's ‘Nodo Infinito’ has the musicians sitting in a circle and explores the eternal cycle of life and rebirth in a ‘monochrome’ style of slow waves.
