New album: Vision for Two - 10 Years
Accordionist Klaus Paier and cellist Asja Valcic have been delighting audiences and critics as a duo for ten years. Der Spiegel speaks of “breathtaking music”, the Guardian of “gripping interplay”. Their anniversary album is both a retrospective and a departure. The title track alone shows what the two musicians stand for: classically grounded, yet open to jazz, world music and new worlds of sound. The combination of silky-smooth playing and spontaneous energy makes their music unique and timeless.

Each piece tells its own story: from the grooving “Straight Thirteen” to the impressionistic “Hidden Thread” and the homage “Mozart Incognito”. Sometimes melancholy resonates, sometimes South American fire or cinematic vastness.
