THE NUISANCES & ZOO ESCAPE

LOS FASTIDIOS... from Verona, Italy, have been touring the world since 1991 and play over a hundred concerts a year. Their sound ranges from street punk to 2Tone ska, with a mix of rock “n” roll, Brit pop and early reggae. For them, it's all about fun, with lyrics that make you think and get you dancing from start to finish. Enrico, the original lead singer, has been accompanied by Elisa Dixan's sweet voice since 2018, giving the band a fresh, even more exciting atmosphere.

Suicide Pop – Imagine Brecht and Adorno always wanted to dance closely together, but until now they could never agree on a sound. On their official debut ‘Apart From Love’, Zoo Escape present a mélange of power pop, 77 punk and Stones-like licks. There's nothing wrong with these influences, and yet it's 2015 and the band members are only in their early 20s. So they took the influences they love and baked their own cupcake. With a few brand new food colourings added, which they suspect you can survive eating. But what do you know for sure – welcome to the melodramatic world of Suicide Pop! The auditory little death with lyrics about wages and bread, zeitgeist, intoxication and dreary duty; the only thing they don't sing about is love – not yet, anyway.
