Girls move the world!

On Saturday, 14 June 2025, the Landessportzentrum Tirol in Innsbruck will become a meeting place for young, curious girls. At the sports event ‘Girls move the world!’, girls aged 8 to 14 can try out different sports in a fun and motivating environment. From 10:00 to 16:00, everyone is invited to take part and gain new experiences.
Admission is free and pre-registration is not required.
Whether football, kickboxing, fencing or basketball - visitors can expect exciting workshops in various sports and much more at the event. Qualified trainers from local sports clubs will guide participants through a varied programme that invites them to discover new sports. At the same time, they have the opportunity to get to know the sports clubs better. A special highlight: participants will have the fantastic opportunity to meet the well-known nitro freestyle athlete Kristina Holzfeind in person! She will be on hand to give exclusive insights into her sport and answer questions.
The event focuses on strengthening the role of girls in sport, promoting equal rights and encouraging them to be open and curious about new sporting experiences. With this event, we want to create a space in which girls can develop freely, try things out and surpass themselves. That's why we ask the boys to accompany this special moment from the sidelines - as enthusiastic supporters who show how strong real team spirit is.
