Mountain Echos - an event that connects, moves and inspires.

Mountain Echos is a unique event in Innsbruck that offers people with visual impairments a new, barrier-free experience in the mountains – through soundscapes, tactile experiences, and a guided hike. At the same time, the event raises public awareness about inclusion and demonstrates how nature, with all its sounds, scents, and textures, can be experienced intensely even without the sense of sight. It also fosters a greater appreciation for mindful and sustainable interaction with our environment.
In Austria, there are very few opportunities for visually impaired people to engage with alpine environments. Mountain Echos fills this gap and promotes:
- Inclusion in mountain sports
- Awareness and sensitivity in society
- Sustainable, accessible tourism in Tyrol
- Responsible interaction with nature
