MUSIC WITHOUT WALLS

Two choirs, separated by national borders, demonstrate the unifying power of music. In summer 2023, the vocal ensemble Euphonie took part in the Leonardo da Vinci International Vocal Music Competition in Florence under the direction of maestro Claudio Büchler. The University Choir of the Music Academy of Eastern Sarajevo also competed in the same category. After listening to each other perform and after stimulating conversations, a valuable musical friendship developed and the director of the Chamber Choir Academy of Music University of East Sarajevo, Maestro Prof. Rade Radovic, MA, expressed the wish to sing a concert together with the vocal ensemble Euphonie. We were happy to fulfil this wish. At the concerts you will hear spherical sounds and wonderful harmonies by composers from Austria, the former Yugoslavia, England, Hungary and the Baltic States, among others.
