New Year's Concert: Tyrolean Chamber Orchestsra InnStrumenti
The Tyrolean chamber orchestra InnStrumenti, conducted by Gerhard Sammer, invites you to another musical extravaganza to kick off the new year with its 2026 New Year's Concert! The audience can look forward to a highly varied concert, inspiring presentation – this year for the first time with presenters Markus Koschuh (Innsbruck) and Harald Windisch (Ischgl and Kitzbühel) – and three outstanding Tyrolean vocal soloists: soprano Martina Fender, tenor Martin Lechleitner and the young Austrian beatboxing champion Paul Pichler. The concerts at the Innsbruck Congress will also feature the young dancers of the Elencia dance group and acrobat Elina Batruel.
The wide range of music spans composers who will be celebrating special anniversaries in 2026, such as Giuseppe Verdi, Manuel de Falla, Werner Pirchner and Carl Maria von Weber, to Arturo Marquez, Franz Lehar, Emmerich Kálmán, Constanze Geiger and Johann Strauss.
In addition to classic ‘New Year's Concert hits’ and duets by the two vocal soloists, there will be numerous musical surprises, such as a new piece for beatboxer and orchestra by Christian Tschugnall.
