An ode to life is what the Spanish-Lebanese choreography duo Maria Campos and Guy Nader call their latest work, which explores the fragility of the relationship between humans and nature. Over the years, they have created their own dance language combining contemporary and classical vocabulary with acrobatic elements and the exploration of gravity, artistic movements and geometric forms. Natural Order of Things is their attempt to reaffirm this order through beauty and harmony in order to find a way to reconnect with nature and create a balance. They draw inspiration from orderly disorder. On stage, the ten dancers follow unpredictable, seemingly chaotic paths before finally reorganising in coherent groups. Cyclical and repetitive movements cast a hypnotic spell. A quest for perfection in imperfection.
