Austrians as mass murderers in Poland Globocnik, Eberl, Stangl

From 1942 onwards, National Socialists from Austria were heavily involved in the murder of more than one and a half million people in the "General Government" in occupied Poland
occupied Poland, especially in the extermination camps at Bełżec, Sobibór, and Treblinka. The former Gauleiter of Vienna, Odilo Globocnik, directed "Aktion Reinhardt" from Lublin. Irmfried Eberl from
Bregenz—who had studied medicine in Innsbruck—was the first commander of the Treblinka extermination camp. He was replaced by Franz Stangl, who came from Altmünster on Lake Traunsee and had proven his competence in mass murder in Sobibór. Experts will discuss these criminals on the podium:
Michael Gehler, Peter Pirker, Johannes Sachslehner, and
Anders Otte Stensager. The evening will be moderated by Ingrid Böhler.
