Patterer & Kaschka: GERMAN POP meets POETRY SLAM

Matthias Patterer, who hails from Obsteig, is known for German-language pop with meaningful lyrics and catchy melodies. “Ohne Krawall und Tamtam” showcases a particularly stripped-back and intimate side to his music. His songs have already been featured on ORF on several occasions and reach a wide audience on streaming platforms and social media.
Emil Kaschka is a writer, poetry slammer and film director – and ranks among Austria’s most successful slam poets. Alongside his performances on slam stages, he has published the novel *Grünholz* and works as a writer and director for theatre and film. This evening sees two different forms of storytelling come together: German pop meets poetry slam – at times quiet, at times funny, at times moving, but without any fuss or fanfare.
