Poetry in all VOICES

Poetry and music are art forms that have always inspired and influenced each other. When setting literary texts to music, composers are faced with the challenge of carefully emphasising the meaning of words through their musical dress, thereby clarifying the author's intention and making it even more tangible. Together with the actor HARALD WINDISCH, the Tyrolean vocal ensemble STIMMEN would like to perform a special selection of poetic texts in spoken and sung interpretation. The concerts will centre on two world premieres by Tyrolean composers Andrea Oberparleiter and Michael Huber.
